AWARDED 2ND PRIZE IN THE INTERNATIONAL DESIGN COMPETITION RUN BY AREA DECLIC IN 2010.

“A chair in the green, design for a better world” The jury were looking for original designs of outdoor seating with sustainable characterisitics and chose the “Strike” chair for its innovative features.

Its original and striking graphic pattern will add style to bar and restaurant environments, the curvature of the back creates a comfortable chair which is welcoming to sit on.  The patterned cuts give the chair its unique look but also give it a transparency, allowing the products environment to be viewed through the slots therefore helping to integrate the chair into its surroundings.  The chair is heavy enough so it won’t blow over easily in the wind but is light enough to move around and can easily be stacked for storage.  The cut outs reduce the chairs weight but also allow the rain to drain from the seat making it ideal for outdoor use.
